Team Leader of the Last Quarter

As Special Events manager when asked what do you like best about your job? She replied, “I enjoy working with the guests, my fellow team members and all of the interaction with other departments”. “I love my job as it’s creative, interesting and challenging”. Lovedy’s extraordinary dedication, service and performance to her team are reflected in the comments made recently by all of her representatives: “She has to be the fairest leader that exists!” “Somehow she always manages to know who had the last late night or 3 day weekend.” “There is never a question of fairness when assigning our work schedules.” “She asks nothing that she isn’t willing to do herself.” Lovedy is excellent with communication and training her team. She leads by example and show them how to work hard, get the job done, and treat the guests with utmost respect. She remains calm in the most trying of circumstances both with the guests and her fellow team members. Her management style encourages loyalty and the desire to do the best job possible. Lovedy excels in team work, delegating events, casino décor installations, assisting promotions and requests for assistance by other departments. She is a star leader.

Kevin began his career at Pala in June of 2005 as a Bus Person in Choices. After 3 months, he was promoted to Food Server in Choices. He was an instant success! He is currently the most requested server in Choices. He always greets his guests with a smile, shakes the gentleman’s hand, and pulls out the chair for the ladies! He never leaves a drink half empty or dirty plates on the table. Kevin has a way of making his guests feel as if they are the only guests in his section! He remembers guests’ names, their drink preference, and family information such as their children’s’ names. Dining in Kevin’s section is like coming home to have dinner with family. Tom and Helen, Platinum guests, jokingly call him their grandson. They even keep a picture of Kevin’s son on their refrigerator door! Recently, Kevin took a few weeks off to visit family. While he was off, some of his guests chose not to come to Pala during that time which shows that Kevin is clearly the reason they come to our Resort! Kevin Dam, is an asset not only to Choices, the Buffet, but to Pala Casino Spa Resort!
