Learn To Play EZ Baccarat

Objective

EZ Baccarat is the same as traditional Baccarat with one exception, the taking of commission on winning Banker hands is replaced with barring one specific hand. When the Banker hand wins with three cards totaling 7, wagers placed on the Banker result in a push (tie). EZ Baccarat is played with eight decks of 52 cards each (no jokers). Cards are at face value, except 10’s and face cards count as 0, and aces count as 1. Suits are irrelevant. Each independent coup is initialized with two cards dealt to each hand. The possibility of a third card is dependent upon the total (see Rules and Draw). The hand (Player or Banker) that comes closest to or totals 9, wins. If the total exceeds 9, only the right-hand digit is counted (e.g. 8 and 7 equals 5). When both hands end with the same total, it is considered a “Tie”; wagers placed on the Player or Banker result in a push (tie).

Wagers

Winning wagers placed on the Player and Banker pay even-money. Players may also place optional side wagers on the “Tie”, “Dragon 7” and “Panda 8”. Wagers placed on the “Tie” win and pay 8-to-1 when the final outcome of the Banker and Player hands have the same total. Wagers on the “Dragon 7” win and pay 40-to-1 when the Banker hand wins with a three-card total of seven (7), and wagers on the “Panda 8” win and pay 25-to-1 when the Player hand wins with a three-card total of eight (8).
