Learn To Play Three Card Poker

Object Of The Game

Players have three different ways to play: against the dealer (Ante bet and Play bet), on the Poker value of their hand (Pair Plus bet), or both. After choosing which way to play, wagers are made and play begins with three cards dealt to each player and to the dealer.

Play Against The Dealer’s Hand

Once a player receives three cards, he or she has the option to fold (forfeit Ante bet) or stay in the hand by placing a wager (equal to the Ante) on the Play bet. If the player’s hand has a higher Poker rank than the dealer’s qualifying hand, the player wins.*

* To qualify for play, the dealer’s three-card hand must contain a Queen or higher-value card.

Pair Plus

Players may choose to wager on the Pair Plus bet. This is not a bet against the dealer’s hand, but a bet on the Poker value of the player’s three-card hand. If the player’s hand contains a pair or better, regardless of the dealer’s hand, the player wins.

Play Both Ways

Players may also choose to play both ways by betting against the dealer’s hand (Ante bet) and betting on the Pair Plus.
