The Inspector is responsible for ensuring that the gaming operation is following all Pala Gaming Commission (PGC) Regulations, National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) requirements, Pala’s Compact with the State of California, and departmental policies and procedures (hereinafter referred to as Regulations). 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Observes and analyzes gaming procedures performed by Pala Casino Resort and Spa and their team members for evidence of deficiencies in controls, duplication of effort or lack of compliance with Regulations.
  • Analyzes procedures performed and makes recommendations to the Compliance Manager on proper procedures or changes to established procedures for the Compliance department.

Also is responsible for conducting backgrounds on licensing applicants as required by noted Regulations.

Licensing Clerk

SUMMARY

Responsible for entering all data from gaming license applications for backgrounds as required by PGC Regulations, National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) requirements, Pala’s Compact with the State of California and the Departmental policies and procedures (hereinafter referred to as Regulations) into the Departments computerized data base.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES

  • Maintain Data Base pursuant to Regulations.
  • Ensures the timely completion of work. 
  • Scans documents from Licensees files into the Data Base. 
  • Reviews scanned documents for accuracy and transfers to the appropriate Licensees. 
  • Receive and maintain confidential information both verbally and written. 
  • Enter all applicant information into database. 
  • Ensures that the Data Base is kept accurate and up to date as it relates to their work. 
  • As directed by the Manager is responsible for the timely filing of all reports and documentation required by Regulations.

SUMMARY:

Monitor casino and associated areas via CCTV and direct observation to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policy and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Special surveillance – CCTV intensive dedication, close observation of a target game, team member or patron
  • Observation dedicated to a game or a person, which is compared to written documentation
  • Monitors Table Games, Slots, Casino Cage, Soft Count, Hard Count, Change Booths, change persons and all Team Members on/or adjunct to casino floor

RV Resort

RV Groundskeeper

Location: Pala, CA

Responsible for maintaining grounds of the RV Resort property using hand, power tools, and equipment. Performs cleaning and maintenance services throughout the RV Resort, which includes but is not limited to RV sites, swimming pool, restrooms, etc.  Reports directly to the RV Manager and RV Supervisor.

  • Excellent guest relations, service, communication skills required.
  • Must possess a valid California Driver's License as well as a good driving record.
